It cancels some noise, good when kids will shout or when hoovering, blowing the hair, etc. They are light, probably the colourfull part from harder plastic.
They insulate very well and are very comfortable.
They are great, they really only make a little noise. I loved the model, I found it super modern. For those who think it doesn't completely eliminate noise, try using a larger rubber pad.
